Peaceful, quiet and relaxing

4 of 5
We had a brilliant week at this cottage with our two sons aged 5 and 3 who loved playing in the massive enclosed garden. Cottage itself is well equipped and comfortable to relax in after long days exploring the area. So many things to see and do nearby. Loved the charm of Dinan and Dinard and can recommend the beach at Erquy (plage sauvage de Lanruen) as not to crowded but excellent for swimming with pristine sand. Chateau de la Hunaudaye is only about 10 mins from house and well worth a visit with lots of activities for kids.Hyper U in Plancoet has everything you should need for self catering and only 15 mins away ( we thought a lot better than the big intermarche in Dinan which is further away anyway). Think someone previously commented that the camp site adjacent to the house was a bit noisy but we didnt find this. Lovely sense of privacy in the garden made for a really relaxed armosphere.Fantastic holiday had by all!!

The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating .As our ferry arrived early in the morning and the property was empty they allowed us early access which meant that we could settle in and then spend the day wandering around St Malo at our leisure. The property is very contemporary, well equipped and spotlessly clean. There is a verandah with table/chairs/parasol and loungers. The property is approximely 1/2 hour walk/10min drive from the centre of St Malo and the port.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to our family /friends and thank the owners for the bottle of Breton cider left in the fridge.
