A very pleasant family home close to the picturesque 'granite rose' coast

4 of 5
We grew to love this comfortable, well-equiped family home and Claire and Guillaume could not have been more helpful. There is a lovely view of the sea from the third level but the photographs of a lawn with pines and a path down to the sea are not taken from the house. You can reach the sea via a path which lead to a side road. The coast in this part of Brittany is very picturesque and we very much enjoyed visiting the nearby seaside villages. The historical town of Tregieur is definitely worth visiting. It was great being able to use the G43 for walks all along the coast. Thank you again to Claire and Guillaume - you were wonderful hosts.

Bright, airy & clean

5 of 5
The property which is in a quiet estate is in a great location for the beach which is a short walk away, as are several local eateries. We visited at the beginning of September and found the beaches quite empty however it may be a different story in high season. Penvenan, the local village, is approximately 3km away and has a few restaurants, bars, boulangeries and a well equipped Carrefour supermarket. We found the property to be very clean and airy with all the equipment you would require and particular note should go to the very efficient wi-fi, which, having stayed in numerous other properties in France, we have always found to be very slow. The owners were very friendly and we appreciated the home grown organic tomatoes, local cider & biscuits that were left for us. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property and would definitely stay there again if we are ever in the area.
