  • What a beautiful place!
    5 of 5

We stayed for 10 nights in September for a relaxing holiday with our Son. Chantal & Thierry were very welcoming even though we had got stuck in traffic through Paris & arrived much later than planned. The gite is absolutely perfect & very comfortable, it felt like home for 10 nights. The pool was better than we ever could have imagined, even on slightly chillier days it was very warm & lovely to use. Our son is only 3 and we were able to find lots to do in the area, we would recommend the Grande Aquarium and the safari train, both were fab! Thank you Chantal & Thierry, we had the most relaxing holiday!

  • A lovely, well resourced cottage in a v quiet rural location, with beautiful villages close by
    5 of 5

The cottage is v well located, standing on its own in a generous plot, with views over countryside for miles around. Internally, it is very comfortable. Downstairs is open plan, with a v good kitchen area and with all the appliances you will need. Beds and bedrooms are also v comfortable and the showers for both rooms are v good. Although there is wi-fi, because of the rural location, it is not that great, although Britta did all she could to make it work for us. Also, the patio is in need of a new parasol as it is a real sun trap and too hot to sit there without one. Britta did not know the original one was broken and is replacing it. There are many beautiful villages around about to visit and Loches is only 15 minutes away. There is a large Super U there but the town itself is very interesting, with an historic centre that includes a Dongon and Chateau. Alos, Tours, Amboise and the Loire valley are less than an hour away. In summary, we enjoyed a wonderful two weeks and would certainly highly recommend the property.
