Our stay in a charming French house in Argouges, Normandy, August 2018

4 of 5
We are an extended family of 2 grandparents, six adults and two teenagers. All of us had a wonderfully relaxed holiday in this delightful house. The owners, Kate and Julia, couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Kate sorted any querie/ problem immediately. The house and grounds offered masses of space for us all. Fabulous lounge, with gorgeous views in the 'loft' meant we had more than enough space to spread out and enjoy games etc and the very friendly kitchen with an enormous 10 seater table meant we were able to share all our meals as a family. The only quibble was with one of the 'outside ' bedrooms, it would be really enhanced with an additional window. The garden has a generous above ground swimming pool, which was well used and there was plenty of space for Nerf wars and sunbathing! We were all delighted with the opportunities the area offered for tourist visits, many and varied. Altogether, we had a great holiday in the Normandy Marmalade house! Thankyou Kate and Julia....... Lovely characterful cottage with fabulous garden

5 of 5
We had a relaxing week in a peaceful country setting. The cottage is extremely comfortable and well-equipped, with excellent facilities for children including a great pool, which looks out on the pretty French countryside. There are plenty of lovely sandy beaches within easy driving distance, and interesting local towns to visit. Our children (ages 7 and 9) particularly enjoyed the local theme park Ange Michel (15 mins drive). The hosts, Pip and Nick, made us very welcome and we were most grateful for the welcome pack on the first evening which included local cider, wine, bread, milk, jam and biscuits. We would definitely recommend staying at Honeysuckle Cottage.
