On Thursdays you can head for the market in Rue de la Republique, where you’ll be able to purchase local specialities like sweet Muscat wine and Augustines, a type of chocolate.

-Avignon. Avignon is a short drive south of Orange and certainly warrants the trip. It’s historic centre is preserved as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and features the Palace of the Popes, which is a breathtaking example of Gothic architecture, dating to the 14th Century when Avignon was where the popes lived.

Amazing stay in a beautiful home!

5 of 5
We have just returned from an amazing two weeks in this beautiful home! Plenty of space for all of us - 5 adults, one child and a dog and the house has everything you could wish for on holiday! The pool and garden are lovely for long summer days and warm evenings watching the sun set over the vines and Cedric was the perfect host - even coming to make us pizzas one evening in the pizza oven! There is a slight hum of traffic noise from the nearby road when you're outside but it's hardly noticeable and cannot be heard at all inside. All in all an amazing stay in an amazing place - thank you Cedric! 😊

Wonderful Property!

5 of 5
This is a lovely property on the outskirts of Orange. During our stay the temperatures often reached 35 degrees so the swimming pool and air conditioning were both just wonderful. The house is well presented, clean and tidy, with all modern conveniences. Stairs are rather steep and narrow but didn't really present any problems. It was an ideal location for exploring this part of Provence and only a couple of minutes drive (or 30 minute walk) to the centre of Orange. Nearest boulangerie is about five minutes walk so ideal for collecting breakfast, and large supermarkets also very conveniently located to stock up on essentials. Nathalie was the ideal owner in that she was available if needed, but was never intrusive. Both house and pool were very private. We loved our stay here, would highly recommend it, and would certainly like to visit again in a year or two!
