Very nice little place for a relaxing holiday, petit endroit sympa pour les vacances

5 of 5
English: Michelle was very helpful and lovely. The place was clean, bed was made, and basics were available such as oil, coffee, toilet paper... The location of the place is off main "touristic" areas I would say, which was a plus to us, yet everything is at walking distance. A couple of things to keep in mind: there is no oven (but has microwave), a few sockets were not working, no air conditioning but it has a fan. This is by no mean a put off but it helps to know. There is no internet but you can buy a pass for 20euro per week. Same parking is cheap for the week and just 2 steps away form the place. I would come back with pleasure.

Beautiful silence, outstanding panoramic sea and mountain views

5 of 5
House is spacious and clean with bags of local charm combined with modern conveniences. It also stays cool with no need for air con. The terrace is a particular highlight. Stunning to sleep and eat on - morning, afternoon and evening. The pool was enjoyed by the children. The bakery is 100m away and sells delicious breads and croissants. The old track to the neighbouring village of Lama is also 100m away and is an easy 40 minute walk. Although the house is in complete silence - apart from the nearby donkey - it is just 10 minutes drive from the best beach in the area - Ostricconi - and 40 minutes from Corte with its stunning freshwater gorges. Danielle and her son were welcoming and helpful - responding to any queries quickly.
