  • Good flexible accommodation with all facilities required for a large group
    4 of 5

We were a group of 18 so we hired both parts of the accommodation. There is plenty of space for the whole group to sit and dine together and the kitchen has everything needed to cater for a large group. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean. The bedroom layout was a bit tricky as we had a lot of teenagers and the double rooms are mezzanine floors with beds downstairs in the same room, but we were able to get round this. The pool is lovely - it was exceptionally hot when we were there, so it was well used! The volleyball was a hit when it cooled in the evening. This is a very quiet area and a good place to get away from it all. We did a lot of cycling and this is a great area to explore by bike. The Bourgogne canal is close and has an excellent cycle path and the local roads are very quiet. There are a couple of chateau and some lovely unspoilt towns close by. Auxerre is also worth a visit. All in all a very good holiday. Many thanks Nathalie.

  • Great house in a beautiful, interesting area of France

Lovely stone village house which thankfully stayed cool even in the very hot days of last week. Very spacious and well furnished and equipped. We particularly loved the village of Isle sue Serein just nearby plus all the other beautiful and interesting areas and towns of northern Burgundy we visited. Owners are very helpful but not intrusive and we recommend the house to anyone wanting to explore this area.
