Angeliuqe met us on arrival and was very welcoming even though we didn't really speak each others language. The house is exactly as the photos and was very clean. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking. The pool was nice although you need a breeze to keep the mosquitoes away. The village itself is lovely, although a little quiet, it has a boulangerie (which does pizzas on a Friday night) , shop, cafe and a wine shop for the local vineyard (definitely worth a visit.) There are a few nice walks through the vineyards and if you brought bikes it would be a great location for some quiet back road cycling. Peznas is a sizeable town about 10mins away with a nice medieval center, some nice restaurants (make sure you go to margerites ice cream parlour) and a large amount of small boutique shops as well as the usual supermarkets. I would definitely recommend both the property and the area. My only gripe would be that we couldn't get the WiFi to work but being disconnected for a week is no bad thing.

Wow, we were so impressed, a beautiful property in a typical French village. The house was as described and was spotless clean with some lovely touches. A lovely welcome pack greeted us with some fabulous home made jam. Simon & Anna were the perfect hosts, giving us some local knowledge on the restaurants, wines and beeches. We used the property as a base to explore some of Languedoc, which is stunning but we also loved sitting by the pool and relaxing - the best of both worlds. We loved it so much we booked again.
