Small gite in the countryside

4 of 5
Enjoyed our stay overall and the accommodation was comfortable for two people. The owner was not present during our stay, which had we known in advance we could have asked several questions prior to arriving. As in the description, there is another property on the site. However we were not prepared for the lack of privacy this entailed. Probably more due to lack of supervision by parents but (and I do love children) to have little faces staring at us whilst in the area close to the gite and also directly through the window/door was rather off putting. The area around the property is wonderful woodland and countryside, ideal for nature lovers.

Lovely period property, well furnished and equipped, fantastic pool in peaceful location

5 of 5
We stayed at Graham and Sarah’s property just last week with our two young children and had a lovely, peaceful and relaxing time. The property itself was renovated from ruins approx 10+ years ago and had so much charm. The standard is high compared to other places we have rented and the pool is just fantastic for energetic children to lose some energy. The location is idyllic if you are looking to get away from it all and spend some time together as a family, but also have access to the attractions of the Dordogne - we drove out to Sarlat, Bergerac and a couple of other local markets which were all delightful. Graham and Sarah are excellent hosts, the addition of a welcome hamper / grocery shop is great and it was like belt to have a cold bottle of wine awaiting us after our long drive. Overall I would highly reccomend this property for those looking to get away from it all and we look forward to coming back again in the future
