We stayed in this lovely villa with my wife for a week in September to celebrate my 60th birthday. The villa is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self catering holiday, we intended to be out most days sight seeing but it was so lovely lazing by the pool we stayed in most days and on the occasions that we did venture out we couldn't wait to get back. There is very little to see or do in Creissan it self but you are only a short drive away from other beautiful French towns that have a little more to offer if that is what you want. We only ate out twice and that was at the small Pizza restaurant in the square at Creissan which was friendly and welcoming. In summary we had a quiet relaxing holiday and would love to return again someday soon perhaps with my daughter and grandchildren.

Le Petit St Nazaire is wonderfully placed to visit the surrounding vineyards, the beaches, and the breathtaking Black Mountains. It is about an hour's drive from Carcassonne while Beziers is only a short drive away with its beautiful cathedral and has an amazing nine locks stairway along the Canal Midi which skirts the city. They are really worth the 7euros parking fee to go and see. There are toilet facilities, a great cafe and shop on site. This was our second visit to Le Petit St Nazaire and we loved every minute. The Gite is ideally suited for 2 persons - with an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge area downstairs and roomy double bedded room upstairs plus a twin bedded room for children or overnight guests. The bathroom is separate from the loo which is a bonus. Wendy and Pat are perfect hosts and unobtrusive although always on hand should you need anything. It was exceptionally hot during our stay so the pool was an absolute godsend. Every morning Wendy and Pat can be seen checking and tidying the pool area and hosing down their lovely garden. The pale blue plumbago growing outside our front door was a picture.
