Excellent, well kept and great location

The property was in excellent condition, and was exactly what we were looking for. The property itself had great facilities, with a good garden for our kids to run around. It is in walking distance of Quetrehou which has a great bakery, butcher, and small shop. There is a pebble beach a few hundred metres from the property which our kids enjoyed collecting shells on, and some good sandy beaches within a short drive. Overall we had a great time, the property was everything we had hoped for, and we would stay again if we were holidaying in the area.

We had a lovely week at this modern, seaside property in a very peaceful location. Very clean & comfortable with lovely décor, fixtures and furnishings. The garden and patio area are all well maintained and it was very peaceful to sit in the garden. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could think of. Damien was the perfect host meeting us at the property on our arrival & departure. We bought our bread everyday from the bakers in the village & also used the village shop for a few things. There is also a village butchers. We used the supermarkets in Monteberg & Quettehou for our main shopping as they had a larger variety of everything, particularly in Quettehou. If you are in the area for WW2 history then the museum in the village is worth a visit as is the nearby Crisbecq battery. We cycled there - via the seafront road - about 8 miles round trip. Also for local history we had a great half day trip to Tatihou island a 10 minute boat trip from St Vaast La Houge marina. We ate at a few of the restaurants in St Vaast La Houge & also at La Chaumiere in Quettehou all of which were good. The vast stretch of beautiful beach is a few minutes from the house.
