A real find!

5 of 5
The website pictures do not do this lovely house justice nor give an indication of the wonderful location. This was a super property, probably the best equipped we have ever stayed in as a holiday gite. Built by the owner's husband, it is beautifully finished, light and spacious. There is a sunny terrace with an awning and large dining table, plenty of sun loungers and a pretty sunken garden with two further seating areas. Its position is about a mile and a half out of the delightful village of Peyriac de Mer, with two or three restaurants and bars, a bakery and a useful small supermarket. Perfect for a peaceful break and great walks around the interesting etangs. Busier places were nearby, as were large hypermarkets if needed but we loved the peace and the views over the vineyards to the etangs. Best of all, however, was the owner. Madame Fontanel was simply delightful and couldn't do enough to please. We can heartily recommend this to anyone looking for great accommodation in a great area.

Relaxing at the Domaine du Sault

4 of 5
Our fourth visit to the lovely Domaine du Sault: we love its tranquil rural setting and the view acros the valley from the outside dining and barbecue area. The gite is well equipped with everything we need and the large pool in its garden setting is a real plus - we swam every day. A car is a necessity for shopping although we enjoy walking in the woods behind the property. Nearby there are fascinating towns and vlllages to visit and the coast and restaurants are an easy drive away. Mike and Paule are on hand to deal with any queries. We look forward to our next visit.
