Paradise Found

Beautiful house in stunning countryside surrounded by olive groves, pine and cypress trees at the end of a track with no passing traffic. Completely by itself and not overlooked, so perfect for a peaceful retreat. We were met by the owners who showed us around the house and provided lots of information - very friendly and welcoming. Aicha's house is beautifully decorated and filled with her family's pieces of art. The house itself was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped - better equipped than most rentals we have stayed in. The pool and surrounding area is perfect and there are many different terraces to sit at with an array of table and chairs. The house is a couple of minutes from a small village, however all amenities such as bakeries, butchers, epicerie and a cafe can be found in Mirabel approximately 5 minutes drive away. The surrounding area and landscape is spectacular with lots of interesting towns & villages to visit including the spectacular Mont Ventoux. The property and area far exceeded our expectations and the photos do not do it justice. We certainly did not want to leave after just one week and would love to return.

Lovely, very well equipped with great outside spaces with fab pool.

Loved the property nestled in the hillside amongst trees, grape vines and olive groves. The nearest largest town is Nyons (nearest supermarkets here) which has a superb market and well worth a visit. The property is well thought out with several outside spaces which work so well for outdoor/indoor living. The pool is a great feature, varying depths up to about 2m, and has a lovely view. There is an outside gas french BBQ with flat plate which easy to use in its own tiled outside 'room' next to the main eating terrace. The house is full of personality and attention has been paid to interior design which is nicely quirky and really well thought out with lots of personal touches. The kitchen is very well equipped with plates/cutlery/glasses galore and does include a dishwasher. There are lots of things to do with the pool and also table tennis/darts. We had a fab family time here and thank Olivier.
