Lovely relaxing holiday in a beautiful house

5 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves staying in this authentic French farmhouse. We spent our time cycling along the canal (Tim has bikes - including a seat for a toddler and a helmet too), finding the best 'menus du jours' and generally exploring the area. And our son enjoyed playing by the pool and in the tree house, and jumping on the trampoline. Tim was a great host and had loads of advice on things to do while we were there. He kindly offered to buy us some food supplies as it would be quite late when we arrived which was so helpful and much appreciated. Lovely relaxing holiday :)

Relaxing well designed house and garden.

4 of 5
So many places to relax inside and out. Atmospheric open plan inside - nice kitchen area opening out to rest of house. Interesting trees, lovely sunsets, pleasant local walks, pleasant, though quite shallow, pool, great showers. Only negatives were the slight ageing of some facilities - e.g.: one or two lights, sockets, dishwasher and pool alarm not working perfectly. But that can be an advantage if you are worried about breaking brand new facilities!
