  • A slice of heaven in Provence!

Everything about our stay on Cecile's family's vineyard was magical. Cecile is a generous and gracious host who went out of her way to welcome us (for example, greeting us late at night after travel delays caused a midnight arrival and driving us back to the train station the next morning to retrieve a rental car). The vineyard is glorious and the cottage is wonderfully appointed -- we were so thrilled with the setting and the accommodations that we asked Cecile if we could stay on for two more days. The grapes were being harvested and it was a joy to witness the process. The location is perfect and centrally located for so much of what we planned to do. We could not have been happier. Merci, Cecile!

Overall a good villa - outside areas very well equipped and shady. Very pleasant decor throughout- with good modern facilities. and upstairs bedroom suite delightful. but a few reservations. Downstairs twin room rather damp. Pool by end of the week rather grubby- no chemicals added or cleaning done during the week - although Patricia our local contact was very helpful and had asked the pool man to call. Overall a good stay in a lovely area.
