We wanted to take a quite seaside break before birth of our second child. It was an ideal dream holiday that we were looking forward too. The location is ideal as it was not crowded at all and was quite with scant holidayers. The water was clean to the extent you can spot crabs and fish without effort. The water is not very high close to the beach and is ideal for having fun even with little ones. We did some surfing, paddling and canoeing as there are rentals/shops to hire or buy within walkable distance. The property is idyllic and cosy. Best part was the hammock to have a siesta during hot afternoons. And as it looks over the sea, we never missed opportunity to have our dinner by the balcony. The flat is on the third floor and doesn’t have lift. This didn’t bother us. There are certainly good restaurants, however choices are very limited or none of you are vegetarian as we were. And as a bonus we have Danièlè who is a charm. She is so warm and loving, we took an instant liking towards her. She is very helpful and accommodative to ensure you feel very at home. There are somethings one can price but Danièlè is priceless. A very relaxing holiday and will surely return again. Highly recommend for families and alike who are looking for a quite seaside break.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Boissieres and the apartment at 25 rue du puits neuf in particular. It had everything you could wish for by way of facilities once you found out in which draw they lived! We did not realise the accommodation was on the first floor and the only negative side to our stay was being somewhat aged we found the stairs a little bit of a problem, the front stairs were too worn to use safely and the ones to the terrace would benefit from a handrail. Having said that the pool area and gardens were lovely, we really meant to ask Patrice what the name of the magnificent tree in the garden was, but forgot. It was lovely to be woken each morning by the Starlings and Sparrows when they came to breakfast on the vines, you could nearly set your watch by them, very relaxing. All in all we were looked after very well and would recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing place to stay.
