La Suprise - a little bit of heaven in the Dordogne.

5 of 5
La Suprise is situated in a peaceful and beautiful rural setting. The gites and buildings, converted from an old farm, are constructed from golden coloured stone, complemented by blue shutters and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Our gite was furnished in a rustic style and was comfortable yet chic. Everything we would ever need was there. The complex lies between two medieval villages, both of which have 'beautiful villages of France' status. But what really made this holiday so special was our hosts, Steve and Clare. We were given a lovely warm welcome and throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble for them. Each morning Clair brought warm bread and croissants for breakfast (I can smell them now). Steve and Clare are both ideally suited to having and looking after guests. Discrete yet available. Thank you for a special holiday.
