Maison spacieuse avec vues superbes sur Locquirec

5 of 5

A hidden gem

4 of 5
I don't think the photos do this house justice - a lot of time has been spent on the interior and garden, it's immaculate. The house is well equipped, particularly the kitchen considering how compact it is. We ate in every evening and there was enough room for my Dad to create a seafood platter for four! Despite a couple of rainy days we were also able to make use of the garden and BBQ because of the amount of outdoor cover provided; this is a great addition to the house! Locquirec is much bigger than we imagined with some lovely craft shops and harbour-side eateries. The beaches around the headland are fantastic too. It's worth having an explore as their are plenty of little coves to uncover. If you're looking for day-to-day supplies Plestin-les-Grèves is the place to visit: in addition to having the nearest supermarket the butcher and fishmonger by St. Efflam's church are *incredible* and even provide re-heatable home-made meals if you're wanting a night off from cooking. The Tourist Information office in Plestin-les-Grèves was also worth a visit - we highly recommend asking for Rolf. The breadth of suggestions and information he provided for our stay was fabulous. This is definitely a house and an area of Brittany I would like to return to.
