A great find deep in the Loire Valley

We had a great week at this property. Ken and Liz made us feel very welcome whilst also letting us find our own feet. All the recommendations were great. We had a lovely mixture of relaxing in the sun at the pool and exploring the area. It really is a hidden gem.

                                    Secluded cottage in superb area

                                    4 of 5
We found Ken and Liz were friendly knowledgeable hosts, the cottage is in the ideal area to explore the Loire valley, the large Chateaux's are only 45 minutes to an hour away by car but you can stop at pretty villages on the way. If you don't want to eat out there is an intermarche 20 minutes from the gites but there are plenty of local markets on different days and there is a small grocery shop and Boucherie only 10 minutes away in Le Grand Pressigny. The cottage had all the amenities you could wish for and an excellent place to unwind. We throughly enjoyed our stay, the only down side was my husband kept banging his head on the low front entrance to the cottage but once inside he was fine haha

Lovely Cottage in beautiful rural location

                                    5 of 5
We had a lovely week staying in La Lune. The cottage quaint and well equipped with a very comfortable and large bed. The gardens were beautiful and the pool was clean and a nice temperature. The cottage is located within a short drive of some of great attractions (the Brenne national park and some nice chateau and towns) and within fairly easy reach of some of the Loire's more well known attractions. We also enjoyed walks from the doorstep through the local and very peaceful countryside. Ken and Liz were excellent hosts - would love to return someday!
