The villa is small but perfectly formed. It is compact, cool and in a great location. It was hot when we stayed so would have enjoyed a little more sun shade around the pool. Just across the road is a beautiful beach, perfect for kids. There is a small port where you can hire boats or take the ferry to Cannes. The other end of the beach is a good water sports centre. With lots of restaurants, it is a great location. Although we stayed during peak season, it didn't feel crowded. Would certainly consider going again!

  • Spacious and well equipped apartment. A great base to explore the area.

The apartment is located in a gated complex well above the town of Mandelieu. The complex and apartment block is clean, very well maintained and up-market. The town is an easy drive of a few km where there is a large supermarket, the beaches of Mandelieu and some restaurants. This is a large holiday apartment and very well equipped. The balcony which surrounds the apartment is very large which makes for a superb dining and lounging area. A fantastic area to spend the evenings with family or friends. The rear garden area is also very pleasant late in the day. The shared pool is immaculate and was beautifully warm during our stay. Perhaps one of the best holiday pools I can remember. The apartment also benefits from two compact en-suite bathrooms and a small but modern kitchen. During hotter weather, the bedroom would benefit from cooling fans. Because of the hot weather, we also needed to buy mosquito nets for the beds. This is perhaps a down-side of having your own garden? The location is relaxed, away from the busy holiday centres but very close to explore nearby Cannes, Mougins, Valbonne and Grasse. I also recommend the old town of Nice and especially Antibes.
