Le Tronchet is a small village around 25km inland from Saint-Malo, which is primarily known for its outstanding golf courses, where players can practice their swing amongst some of the finest scenery the region has to offer. Attractions in Saint-Malo include the town museum, a couple of cathedrals and one of the largest aquariums in the country. If you can spare a couple of days, Saint-Malo also has a direct TGV service to Paris.

Beautiful, well equipped property with an amazing garden

Just returned from a very relaxing stay at the Ebony Orchard. The house is a lovely size and very tastefully decorated with comfortable seating in the lounge area and plenty of seating options to enjoy the wonderful garden. The pool was lovely for a refreshing dip in the afternoon and the height of the pool surround meant it was just like standing at a swim up bar. The wonderful gardens have to be seen to be believed as they seem to stretch on endlessly with their very own badminton and boules court. Laurence and Jacky were very friendly on the rare occasions that we saw them and I was very happy that Laurence's English was much better than my French. The village is about a mile away which was really handy as we visited the fantastic Boulangerie every day for their wonderful bread and croissant. This was a very restful and peaceful stay in tranquil surroundings which I would highly recommend. Diane & Bas

A beautiful house in an amazing location.

We loved the house, it was immaculately clean, modern and had all mod cons. It was a lovely rural location but only a short drive from most attractions. You could even take a coastal walking / cycling trail right to Le Mont St.Michel. Highly recommended.
