On arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the standard of finish and size and of the apartment. The photographs on the website really don’t do it justice. We were able to park our VW Transporter van in the locked underground garage and use the lift to carry our luggage to the accommodation. There is a ski locker on the ground floor and you can ski from the apartment to the main lift. There is also everything you need within a short walk including a very good Sherpa outside the main entrance.
It would be helpful if a clothes airer could be provided for drying the children’s ski clothes after their evenings escapades on the sledging slopes. The kitchen facilities are very good but there is no oven, this however was not a problem for us. The master bed was excellent but the children were less comfortable in the bunk beds. They would benefit from some better mattresses. The apartment does not have WiFi. There is a service you can sign up to but after paying £25 my wife found it did not provide the service it promised. If this is something you require then I would advise you to investigate prior to your arrival.
We had a great time in La Tania and the bright, warm apartment helped to make this possible. We would definitely recommend this for a family holiday and also for a couples getaway.
This is a lovely spacious apartment right in the heart of La Tania. There are 3 ski hire shops, 2 restaurants, a bar, the French ski school, a crêperie and pizzeria all within 50 yards of the front door with the supermarket only another 50 yards away.
The apartment itself is spacious, super clean and very, very well equipped (the full size dishwasher was a first for us) and comes complete with a suntrap of a balcony. Most importantly it is truly ski in and ski out with only a 10 yard walk to the ample lockers - even at Easter.
Myriam and Sébastien, the owners, were polite, quick to respond and super organised.
Undoubtedly the best apartment we’ve stayed in at such a reasonable price.
