Booked a late week away and received a very warm welcome from Karen, Anthony and the weather.. great accommodation, great facilities on-site and the sunsets are to die for.. A ideal location to get away from it all and unwind & relax.. just what the doctor ordered! Great advice on places to visit, restaurants and local shops - especially valuable when arriving late on a Saturday! Although wine / beer were pre-chilled in the fridge when we arrived! Owners on site but not obtrusive in any way, Karen & Anthony were always available to answer any questions should anything arise. We had a great time and look forward to returning again in the future.

  • Amazing property, fantastic holiday Aug 2018!

For someone who normally goes all inclusive, I was apprehensive about a Villa Holiday. This was probably the best holiday I've had in a long time. The property is huge and set over two floors. It worked well for our family of 8 as there were 4 large bedrooms and a separate upstairs living room for our older children who could chill out somewhere. The kitchen and large lounge dining room opened out onto the patio and swimming area so we could keep an eye on the kids whilst in the pool. The outside area has plenty of sun loungers, a large dining table, parasols and awnings to keep sun off and some inflatables and games for the kids. The property is well equipped with plenty of linen and towels for bathrooms and pool towels and also has a utility room with washing machine and iron etc. They also provide a welcome pack int he fridge with milk, some cheese and pate, loaf of bread and rather nice bottle of rose, which is lovely especially if you are arranging late or on a Sunday after the shops have closed. also they provide all the soap and toilet rolls in each bathroom for your stay which was unexpected but a lovely touch. It is walking distance (ish) to town either via the road, or through the woods (as we called it). we visited the local markets, which were well resourced in the pack provided at the house, with tourist attractions and markets to visit and what to take. We generally stayed in the house with daily walks into Villereal to mooch around the markets, it is a beautiful medieval village and very friendly and also the restaurants. We drove to Bergerac for wine tasting and go-karting and also into Issigeac which is beautiful. The property manager was also extremely helpful in letting us know the good restaurants and sorted a wasps nest out instantly when we were there and it was gone in 2 hours of use reporting it! We will definitely be booking to stay here again!! It really is Home away from Home! although I didn't want to leave!
