Fabulous days in Nice

5 of 5
We had an amazing time in Nice, staying at the Dalpozza apartment, which was everything it said it was and more. Very spacious and clean and having two bathrooms was a plus. The beds were amazingly comfortable - we slept liked logs. Perfect location and so convenient for everything - a little supermarket across the road, which had everything you needed and lovely reasonably priced restuarants on the street. It was only two minutes to the promenade and the tourist information office, where you could pick up bus timetables, maps etc.and general information. We only had four full days in Nice, but visited lots of places. We spent one day wandering around the old town and harbour and along the beautiful promenade and other days spent visiting Monaco, Antibes and the village of Eze - all a must to do and very easy to get around on the buses, which were very cheap. We must return to see more of this spectacular area.

Cosy and comfortable

5 of 5
Six very comfortable nights just before Christmas in Alan and Ciaran’s beautifully fitted out apartment. Could not be more centrally located, in a pedestrianised area, close to old town shops, outdoor food market and right next door to very pleasant restaurants. Comfortable bed, good bed linens and towels and pillows OK. A tip: if you need to find a hot dryer to dry your washing quickly, there is a self-service launderette 5 minutes walk away just up the Rue de la Boucherie, towards Place Centrale.

Lovely apartment next to the beach

5 of 5
I and my husband stayed in Juan Les Pins in this apartment for two weeks in November 2016. The location is absolutely the best: the beach is 15 meters from the front door - you can just put your swimsuit and a towel on and go for a swim - and there is a nice view to the sea, plus a large balcony. It is probably the only house in Juan Les Pins than does not have any motor traffic between the house and the beach. There is a way for the pedestrians and some fashion shops on the first level, and a nice little garden right outside the balcony. A lot of shops and restaurants are just behind the corner - in November many of the fashions shops were closed, but in high-season this location would be excellent for families with teenagers. They can go to town on their own but they are never too far. There are also several groceries within 5-10 minutes walk and a nice inside parking beneath the Congress Palace circa 400 meters away. The apartment is furnished in an elegant, yet casual way and it functions well. We felt at home there. The kitchen is well-equipped and was quite sufficient for our holiday needs. Mrs Campbell-Gray was very helpful and easy to reach by email during our stay, as was the lady who provided us with the key. Juan Les Pins is a lovely place for long, relaxing walks, and it really does have the best beaches on Côte d'Azur. Looking forward to going there again!
