A little slice of heaven.

5 of 5
Having spent a few days in Louvigne recently I cannot recommend the property highly enough. It truly is a slice of heaven. The location is very peaceful and so beautiful, the gardens and the swimming pool are wonderful and a real credit to Gail and Barry, who are great hosts. The house itself is stunning and has every amenitiy you could possibly wish for. Fully stocked kitchen including a washing machine which is super to have on hand, dishwasher, huge fridge and a choice of cookers. There is a DVD player with DVDs provided, books provided if required. A huge folder is available of local attractions and areas of interest. The town is within walking distance and is lovely with a supermarket, bakery, restaurants and cafes. Although for us the beautiful house and surroundings were all we needed and didnt want to leave. Cannot wait to return. Thanks Gail and Barry. X

beautiful chateau in immaculate gardens

5 of 5
This is an amazing place to stay with extended family and friends. There is loads of space in the grounds (yes really!) for the kids to explore, bounce on the trampoline, swim or play in the sandpit. The bedrooms are charming and rustic with huge beams (mind your head) this is the ideal place for a large group, it is a labyrinth, you really can get lost in it. There are 14 known bedrooms but others still undiscovered i think! The pool area is beautifully maintained as are the gardens. There are not many places to go out, but when we are staying here we don't want to. We just cook meals in the big country kitchen complete with Aga and ancient fireplace. This is a magical place and we hope to come back every year.
