Lovely well appointed house within walking distance of Arbois

5 of 5
This is a lovely house, nicely decorated. Feels more like a home than a holiday let - very comfortable. Great deck out the back of the house with nice view of the river and hills. Everything you need including a BBQ in the garden (remember to take your own towels). About a 10-15 minute walk into Arbois. Try the boulangerie in the square/arcades just over the road from Hersinger - it's fabulous, and the owner is very friendly. And the pizza van in the car park is great too (order early to collect later - they run out. Also visit the nearby waterfalls - very beautiful and great for a paddle. Corrine, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. Don't bother with La Finette restaurant in Arbois - we were disappointed. Market on a Friday morning in the car park is well worth a visit - especially for food, lovely paella. Great rivers nearby for canoeing and swimming.

A great stay in a fantastic house - Exceptionnelle

5 of 5
The house is beautiful and very comfortable to live in re: temperature, facilities, etc. Also very well situated for lakes at les Rousses, just over the border in Switzerland, and of course the heights of the Jura. Thank you to Martine and Francois for their warm welcome (our kids loved the chocolate cake in particular) and for thinking of everything! Un grand merci pour un accueil sympa et une maison exceptionnelle. Mark & Natasha
