Jean Paul was an amazing host who supplied us with lots of lovely apple juice and also really helped us when our car broke down. The house was lovely and had a BBQ which we didn't use but was always available. The village is very quaint with a very small shop for bread (and toothbrushes!). Being fairly remote you need a car but theres two large supermarkets about 5 mins away and Selestat offers lots of larger shops as well as good rain connections to Colmer, Basel and Strasbourg. Riegel DB station is only 25 mins away and offers great connections to Basel and Fribourg.

Excellent welcome with gifts of quiche for our first night and later a brioche. Location quiet ( apart from one yappy dog). Garage for the car was useful in hot weather. Village is very centrally placed. beds a bit hard and cotton sheets would be better. Work going on downstairs on new gite which will be superb when finished and not a problem to us. Catherine and her husband are good hosts. Wifi is coming and will be a good addition to the facility.
