Great apartment in a superb location made for a wonderful holiday

5 of 5
We have stayed in the area on holiday for the last few years but this was the best yet. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped. The outside terrace had a great view of the Canal du Midi and was a perfect place to sit and relax both during the day and evening. Yes we agree with earlier reviews that the bedrooms are a little snug, but don't be put off, they are only for sleeping in. The rest of the apartment makes up for it with oodles of space. Capestang has all you need for day to day living and the Sunday market is particularly good for fresh fruit, meat and veg, as well as a good selection of cooked food. The fancy cakes from the boulangerie in the town square were awesome. The beach is within easy reach by car and of course Carcassonne is always worth a day out. As a serious cyclist I was in heaven. Loads of quiet lanes to cycle on as well as the traffic free canal paths stretching for miles each way. Cycle to Le Someil for the best choice of canal side lunch restaurants in the whole area.. All in all we had a great two weeks holiday in a great apartment in a great location.

wonderful town house

5 of 5
we loved our holiday here, everything you could wish for was there, the house itself was charming, the roof terrace much larger then we thought, location was brilliant, we could not fault it at all, the one and only negative was we arrived early hours of the morning all shops were closed it would of been nice to have had a bottle of milk or water left in fridge, but no way would it stop us using this house or recommending it, brilliant
