Had a lovely week here exploring the gorges and villages, could have done with another week there is so much yo see. The property is higher up than we imagined and has a wonderful view over to some mountains ,the kitchen equipment and furnishing are of a high standard and there is a carport to keep your car out of the sun [which was very hot!] The owners are very friendly and the wife speaks good English, our only negatives are the linen didn't include towels and the Microgrill was placed too high up for my wifes liking, these are just personal opinions of course, overall a wonderful place to stay. We took advantage of a log fire as the weather was unusually bad for June. Comfortable seating in a large main room which was open plan with a dining area and kitchen. Well equipped all round. Bedroom and bathroom/WC on main floor, with another bedroom and WC downstairs, also with external access, although that toilet was not functioning. Parking a little tricky as the space was shared with a couple of tractors and the sheep came by every night! But we managed. Were greeted with a bottle of wine and a jar of absolutely delicious blackberry jam. Lovely view across the hills. Very rural hamlet. Basic provisions and an excellent restaurant (les Tilleuls) in nearby Provencheres.
