Wonderful stay in an exceptional location

5 of 5
The accommodation was a real home from home and no effort was spared to make us comfortable. The children loved the b ikes and trips on the river in the boat.

Wonderful Holiday

5 of 5
We stayed at the cottage over Christmas 2016 and had a lovely time. There is everything you could wish for here and we wanted for nothing. On my first morning I was having a coffee, looking out of the kitchen window and a red squirrel ran across the road - heaven! Unfortunately I didn't see him again but it made my day! At the bottom of the road is the canal, you can walk into Gouarec in approximately 20 minutes. It is beautiful walking along the canal, we saw a Heron twice on the bank and two Egrets warming their wings at the top of a tree. If you have dogs then you can walk for as long as your legs can carry you but just remember you have to walk back! Not far away (approx. 10 minute drive) is the Lac de Guerlédan which is well worth a visit - absolutely stunning. The water was quite low as they are making repairs but I can imagine in the summer that it would be amazing! There are lots of walks along the banks. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the cottage, its comfortable, the décor is lovely and the location is great. There is a supermarket, a patisserie (stunning!!) and an English shop (it was shutting down when we were there but I was informed someone else was taking over!). Terry and Tina are a joy to deal with and will help you in any way they can to ensure you have a wonderful holiday! Enjoy!

Relaxing Christmas Stay at Lenoyer

5 of 5
We enjoyed a very peaceful and relaxing stay at Lenoyer over Christmas and New Year. We relished the delights of the hot tub on a daily basis! Particularly lovely to be ensconced in the warmth on a cold crisp day, whilst drinking a glass of bubbly! Oysters are particularly good in winter in Brittany and I think it is quite possible, I ate a small child's weight in oysters. Also make certain to try the crab - fortunately, there is a big enough pot in the gite to cook it in. In fact, the gite is very well stocked in the kitchen department. Christmas might seem a unusual time to chose to go away but having done it, we have decided we will be going away every Christmas. It removes the hassle and it is particularly good because, there are not as many tourists about. You get a better feel fr the area and get to discover the well hidden gems that the locals enjoy. Viji and Eddie are perfect hosts. They are friendly and go out of their way to make certain your stay is everything you hope it to be.
