Lovely host who helped us out when our car conked out. Charming cottage with oodles of character, comfy beds with fluffy bedding. Nice restaurant down the road within walking distance, lovely river walks. Plenty to do and see in the area.

We had a pleasant week in Normandy. The house is well positioned, a short drive to the local town with all essential shops, and adjacent to a fabulous cycle path. The house itself is rather dated inside, and we would have appreciated a sofa that seated all four of us, rather than the two seater provided - it felt hard to relax sitting on dining chairs! However the surrounding grounds made up for this small point. The house is set on its own within a well kept large garden containing swings and a tree house, no other houses in sight and cows in the field next door. It was lovely for our children to be able to run free around the large garden and the goat and chickens were great fun. We also managed trips further along the coast to Honfleur and to Trouville-sur-Mer with its fabulous beach, and also a day trip to Paris which was one and a half hours by train from nearby Yvetot station. Overall a lovely property which with a bit of attention to the interior could be fabulous!
