This typical Cevenol village, perched along the steep valley sides of the Vallee Borgne, in Cevennes, is a real step back in time to the rustic simplicity of the forested Cevennes area of France. Lying in the south of the country, within the Languedoc-Roussillon region, the Cevennes is a true French wilderness of chestnut forests, rolling limestone plateaux and steep gorges, all blessed with a lovely warm southern French climate. The village is well catered towards visitors, with purpose-built and adapted holiday apartments in town, as well as gites and cottages for rent further up the valley and onto the surrounding hills.

Spacious and well-equipped, with the added bonus of a pool and lovely garden

Very friendly and hospitable hosts who even baked us a cake. We enjoyed using the barbecue (charcoal provided) and the games room. The restaurant in the village was terrific, and the setting beautiful. We did some stunning walks in the area. Highly recommended.
