  • Really charming flat, in a friendly neighbourhood.
    5 of 5

The flat is located at 3 metro station from the opera, so it is really close to the centre. In the neighbouring area there are nice small shops and resraurants, so you can choose if you want to eat out or shop around for fresh ingredients and cook for yourself. We were a family with 2 kids, and with the 2 double beds we could manage sleeping too and the beds were comfortable. Overall i can recommend this flat with couples or families with reasonable needs, and for ones who really want to live like a local.

  • Secluded and quiet but easy access to all of Paris

After an overnight flight and three hotels in four days what a relief it was to get the keys from Stephanie and move into our home for the rest of our vacation. It was hot in Paris during our stay but we had a lovely breeze through the apartment that made it comfortable to sleep, and thanks to the location of the apartment we kept the windows open at night without noise or safety concerns. The apartment is a short walk from the Metro and has two bus stops just in front so we made our way to all parts of the city with no trouble. The neighborhood was full of restaurants for those nights when we got home early but didn't want to cook. At the same time, with several bakeries and fruit stands plus two grocery stores and a cheese shop all within a block or two, it was easy to prepare our own meals and save our money for more souvenirs. The bakery that is recommended in the listing has just changed owners but it was still our favorite of the (many) we visited. There is a small ice cream shop (Kosak Glacier) in Rue Caulaincourt just past the Metro station that we wish we had found earlier as we only found time for three or four visits. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return to this apartment should we travel again to Paris.
