Perfect Retreat

5 of 5
A home full of character set in secluded garden. The swimming pool was perfect with a raised surround to help avoid children and adults accidentally falling in. Everything we required was available to make our stay stress free. We would recommend to all.

An excellent quality holiday home

5 of 5
We had a wonderful holiday at this house in Eguilles. The property consists of the whole upper level of the house, with the lower level occupied by the owners and the pool shared. The owners are lovely people, very warm, accommodating and discreet. We were made to feel extremely welcome from the day we arrived and for the duration of our two week stay. The quality of the property is excellent. Very well furnished and equipped with everything in excellent condition, as new. In fact, it is effectively equipped for permanent use with many more facilities than you would expect from holiday accommodation. The pool is perfect, just as the pictures show. It is not heated but it is not too cold and is really refreshing. Our children were positively encouraged to use the pool whenever they wanted, even at night time with the pool lights left on for them. There is also plenty of outside space with a very large balcony overlooking the pool and south-facing for sun all through the day. There is also a small area at the back of the house which is also very pleasant with chairs under an olive tree. Even though it backed onto the road it was quiet and felt very private with a nice atmosphere. We found ourselves sitting here a lot as it was next to the kitchen. The location is excellent for exploring the area, of which there is plenty to see and do. Only 20 minutes to Aix, 30 minutes to Marseille, 30 minutes to the nearest beaches. The village itself is also very nice, very friendly with all the usual amenities and shops. Would definitely recommend.
