very good value for money - clean neat and tidy - compact kitchen with everything you will need - microwave washing machine kettle oven cooker TV heating and heated towel rail shower tables and chairs - well presented - good location close to town centre and a few hundred yards from a really good supermarket. Quite and peaceful.
( note bed is fitting into a small recess - a little awkward to get in and out perhaps, no lift located on first floor)
Bagnoles d'orne is a thermal SPA town with amazing Suisse looking buildings - lakes casino's, swimming pools shops, bars and cafes. truly exclusive and spectacular town - surrounded by forests and rural farmland and rivers and fishing lakes.
the owner lives a few doors away and will met on site to hand over keys etc.
really nice flat, will highly recommend and will use again if I need.
We stayed with our labra doodle, Wilson at The Mill House over the New Year period, we were given a warm welcome by Jenny and her husband on arrival. Due to Storm Dylan and Eleanor, the weather was pretty appalling but fortunately the Mill House has two wood burners, one in the lounge and one in the kitchen, plus radiators in all the rooms, so we were as warm as toast. Again due to the weather, rain or wind is fine, but both together, horizontally, not conducive to being outside, even Wilson did not want to go out! We were not able to sight see as much as we had hoped, lots of reading and TV, catching up on Christmas/holiday films. There was a dog walk right beside the house, which was great, other than being quite a steep up hill drag initially, great on the way back though. This sadly very quickly got too wet for us to use, so we drove 7mins down the road to a lovely town called Bagnoles-de-I'Orne, which is a very pretty town that has a tarmac walk along the river, a god send. There are several good super markets close by to buy food. We really enjoyed our break, despite the howling gales, the house has all you want with plenty of cut wood for the burners. We found the bed a little hard for us and because we were pretty much house bound a bigger TV would have been nice but other than that it was great. We left Normandy mainly under water, it and the Mill House must be a lovely place in the sunshine.
