Comfortable and quirky apartment.

5 of 5
The apartment is large, comfy, warm and well equipped. There is an excellent hypermarket in Saulieu which is ten minutes away by car, although the property is rural and quiet. The owner lives above and is helpful and friendly but also discrete and unfussy. The Morvan as a district proved stunningly beautiful in autumn. Vézelay is a splendid day out and the local brand of Burgundy wine is under-rated, i.e. cheap. The walks are clearly signed and attractive. We walked around one of the bigger lakes and also through the high woods towards the south. Thoroughly recommended.

Kleinod zum Entschleunigen

5 of 5
