We arrived after a long drive from Frankfurt to find the owners waiting for us, they showed us round the grounds and inside the cottage. We were impressed with everything we saw. The first problem we had was in talking to them as they did not speak any English, but our German friend spoke some French so we were able to understand their explanations. The next problem was they had not told us when we booked that we had to provide our own sheets and duvet covers. They then were able to let us have enough bedding for the three of us at an extra charge of 15 euros each. for the week. I would add that we have been travelling in France and staying in appartments every year for 15 years, and this is the first time we have been asked to provide our own bedding. This should be stated with the fact that a deposit is required in case of any damage. We enjoyed our stay and visited Beaune, Autun and the surrounding area, we also enjoyed lazing in the sun in the gardens. The only item that was missing from the cottage was a chopping board for vegetables etc. I used a plate. Everything in the property was well maintained and very clean. We would recommend this property to anyone with children as there is a large playroom and a big trampolene in the garden. We have allready given the details to some German friends.
