Fantastic location and wonderful hosts

5 of 5
The community of Montlaur was just what we were looking for and Felicity and Peter could not have been better hosts. It was the trip of a lifetime for us and we would stay here again if we have the opportunity. The property is convenient to everything to see and do in southern France and we were able to take advantage of visiting and doing everything.

Loved this place, relaxing, great views

La Cave is a beautiful property in the quiet village of Maisons with views of the nearby mountains. The village doesn't have a bakery but does have a regular mobile bakery which became part of our breakfast ritual of waiting for the horn blast to indicate the arrival of the bakery which stopped right outside the La Cave if you caught their attention. There is Local bakery shop and Spar shop in the nearby village of Tuchan which you reach by a winding mountain road with spectacular views. The owner's John and Lin are very welcoming and friendly and have furnished the property with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The nearby old town of Perpignan and the seaside town of Collioure are well worth a visit.
