A gite in the fields

4 of 5
In three whole weeks we enjoyed a remarkable range of weather from heat-wave to cold rainy days, and the house coped well with both the extremes! The situation, on a hill and surrounded by working farms and walnut groves, is most attractive and make it the ideal location for those who want to get away from the usual tourist trails of the Dordogne. The house is very well equipped with comfortable beds, showers, cooker, fridges, washing machine, an excellent pool, and plenty of plates, cutlery, etc. The owners, who live next door, are very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The only thing to be aware of is that it is indeed a small property and those who rent it should be prepared to be living very close to each other!
