An excellent apartment, beautifully furnished, great location.

4 of 5
Upon arrival at Nice Airport we were collected by the charming owner who drove us to Cimiez & showed us the sights along the way, she'd even got us some basic provisions in as we arrived on a Sunday after the stores had closed. The apartment is on the 4th floor and it's fixtures & fittings are all top quality. Beautifully decorated throughout, there is plenty of space in the lounge, dining room, bathroom & all 3 bedrooms. The view from the lounge & master bedroom across the city is stunning. Sadly there is only 1 Aircon machine in the master bedroom which means the rest of the apartment especially the other bedrooms are very hot. The lift up to the 4th floor broke on day 1 and did not get fixed so having to climb 121 steps several times/day when it's 30 degrees was sticky! The apartment therefore needs more aircon especially in the kids bedrooms so they get a better nights sleep. The free wifi is pretty fast, and there is an Apple Mac, several TVs and a stereo available. The supermarket is a 5 min walk away. The bus stop is 1 minute away and it's only €1 to get the 10 min ride into town. The pool is right outside & is clean/quiet. Next to the pool are toilets & showers. All along one edge of the pool is a vine-covered eating area where you can picnic! There's also tennis & ping-pong for the sporty types as long as it's not too hot! Nice itself is a beautiful city - go explore the old & new city but beware of pickpockets. Overall - 4 stars (Needs more aircon!)

A fantastic apartment in wonderful city

5 of 5
As a family of six we found the apartment easy to find and well connected to public transport. We found it spacious and reasonably well equipped. The kids enjoyed the fast wifi connection, but the best thing of all was the wonderful terrace with a beautiful view across Nice and to the sea. The large pool was better than expected and not overcrowded even at the end of July, the perfect place to relax on lazy days or after a hot day of sightseeing. We walked to the Matisse Museum and used public transport to get around very easily. Parking was fun in the underground car park with a lift directly to the front door of the apartment. The housekeeper was friendly and very helpful.
