Wonderful escape with everything we needed

We had a really relaxing week at La Chapelle - plenty of space both inside and out for our group of 8 to both spend time all together and in smaller groups/alone. Fantastic heated pool and we loved playing croquet and tennis. The house is extremely well-equipped (clearly a home) especially the kitchen. La Chapelle is in a very private area and we didn't feel overlooked or overheard at any point. Everyone felt very rested by the end of the week and we hope to go back again soon. Thoroughly recommend it.

Well situated, elegant, airy place to stay.

Situated in the pedestrianised centre of Vendome the gite is convenient for the shops, restaurants and historic buildings in the town. It is inside a quiet courtyard garden and facing the owner's house. Parking is not on site but in one of the public carparks, not too far away, but luggage etc can be off-loaded at the door. The upstairs bedroom, with 3 single beds, is not as attractive as the rest of the space, but suitable for older children. The bathroom and separate toilet are downstairs. Potential users should be aware that the wifi signal is intermittent.
