              Beautifully renovated and well equipped.

The house and surrounding area is beautiful. The house is being renovated to a very high standard and is very well equipped including a plentiful supply of lovely towels and bedding. The bedrooms are very spacious and with the extra sitting area upstairs there is plenty of room for everyone. There is plenty to do around Belan, including visiting Chatillon sur Seine, you must see The Vase of Vix and if you fancy further afield Chablis is lovely and has a great market on a Sunday morning. The cremant and champagne villages that are nearby are a must and for the children Nigloland (about 45 min drive) is always a good day out. The restaurant in Belan, La Marmite, is very very good, with the meat being cooked on an open fire in the restaurant, definitely worth a visit. We will be back, thanks again Julia.

We have been visiting La Grange Ancienne for the last 6 years. We love this area so much that we bought a barn and are now in the process of renovating it. We keep on comîng bâck to this gîte as its beautiful and tastefully furnished.  The bedrooms are immaculate and the bedding is so comfy. The kitchen is well equipped and everything is extremley high standard. The hosts Kate and Kevin are always warm and welcoming to us. There is so much to see in this area including the lovely city of Dijon and famous towns in Burgundy known best for their fine wine such as Chablis and Beaune. We always stock up with the local wines and cremant before headîng home and always wish we could stay longer!
