Dordogne at its best

5 of 5
Gorgeous house in a lovely part of the Dordogne. Spent the week there recently with family and it worked really well. Highlights - were an excellently set up kitchen, quality of place and fittings, space/gardens around the property and of course the lovely view to Domme from in and out of the house. Suited young kids really well too. Again, can't really fault it in anyway and hope to return one day.

Tranquility

5 of 5
Clean, tidy, well equipped. Wasn't expecting the bed to be as comfortable as it was; we slept so well. Such a quiet retreat, time to recharge and relax. Great cycling around the area through the walnut trees (we brought our bikes with us). Olivier and Christine were great hosts. Would definitely recommend as a quiet retreat at the start or the end of the season, and incredible value for money. Cannot fault it

Wonderful!

Where do I start? Location - perfect, accommodation - lovely, facilities - you would want for nothing!, Locals - incredibly welcoming. I could go on with a long list of plaudits. We loved taking the evening air watching the hot air balloons against the backdrop of stunning sunsets. The river with all the facilities you could ask for is a ten minute stroll, while Domme is also about ten minutes, but it is a brisk uphill. Maybe not for the infirm but no big drama to get to.
