The Domaine du Rayol is a large botanical garden nearby. It has many different species of plants divided up into their native botanical region. Allow at least 1½ hours to stroll around the colourful 2 km trails.

Le Muy
Le Muy is a typical Provencal village with charming cottages in traditional shades of terracotta, brightened with colourful shutters. The Charles Quint Tower is an 11th century building and there is a 16th century church and an old bridge overlooking the weirs of the old watermills. The town has shops, excellent restaurants and two outdoor markets which are known for their local produce. 

Bormes Les Mimosas
This ancient medieval hilltop village is famous for its beautiful mimosa flowers which bloom from January to March. It has wonderful sea views right out to the islands of Hyeres.

A fantastic property, perfect for a family of 4. It is comfortable and has everything you need.

The Mazet is small but great for a family with small children. The terrace, bbq and outside eating area were lovely and it was very private. My children loved having access to the large pool. We could also easily walk to the beach in 10-15 minutes. Le Lavandou is a wonderful place to stay with a great long beach and lots of restaurants. The supermarket is close by too.

Perfect Apartment Just Metres from the Beautiful Plage Saint-Clair

We enjoyed a absolutely wonderful holiday at Le Clos-Fleuri in Le Lavandou. We were greeted on arrival by Fabien who was extremely welcoming and made us feel immediately at home. The apartment is everything a family of 4 (we are two adults with our two daughters aged 5 and 9) would need. It is clean, light, modern and the terrace area is a real favourite. A wonderful spot in the shade of an orange tree that enjoys the sun all day. Our girls loved the pool and we found ourselves often at the fabulous beach in the morning and then round the pool during the afternoon. You can walk into La Lavandou itself where there are any number of intriguing restaurants and bars. The harbour area hosts some lovely marina-side eateries which are also great. The property owner - Karine, was always at hand if needed, via telephone and she was always helpful and charming. A perfect Easter break was what we needed and Le Clos-Fleuri and Le Lavandou excelled in every area. We will definitely be back as soon as we can.
