There is an excellent self guided tour through Cavaillon which doesn’t require any form of guide of prior knowledge. The plaques, marked ‘Circuit du Vieux Cavaillon’, guide you to the most interesting and remarkable sites of Cavaillon, allowing you to explore completely at your own pace. Once you reach the Cavaillon tourist information office, there is also a magnificent detour to try. The 16th century steps, carved out of solid rock, lead up towards to the top of the Mont St Jacques, the large cliffs flanking the back of the town. From here, the views are exceptional, especially from the ruins of the old village, which can still be seen at the top.

A very comfortable bedsitting room, immaculate, well furnished with a modern ensuite.

4 of 5
The owners Serge and Martine Bourdon are very welcoming and eager to make their guests feel at home. They greeted us with delicious refreshments, pretty little presents including lavender and a bottle of local wine. The outdoor kitchen worked well. The breakfast was copious and delicious. Attention to details was great. The situtation of the B&B is very convenient for visiting the Luberon, shopping (a great market on Sunday morning near by) and eating out and the owners gave us plenty of friendly advice. We do recommend staying there.

Delightful farmhouse in beautiful surroundings

5 of 5
We chose this farmhouse for our annual cycling holiday due to the perfect location in a stunning region. The house did not disappoint with plenty of space for 11 adults and reflected the website description and photographs perfectly. It is very well furnished and equipped so we did not require anything extra. We stayed in early March so temperature is expected to be on the cooler side but we stayed perfectly warm and the beautiful fireplace made for cosy evenings. The housekeeper is a delight and both she and the owner were incredibly helpful at all times. Whilst we try to visit different locations each year, we would have no hesitations booking again.
