Wonderful stay

5 of 5
We were met at this very comfortable "home from home" gite by the English owner, who was so welcoming and eager to make our stay pleasurable. The setting is rural and the village is in a lovely area with plenty to see, good areas to walk and handy for the tourist areas of interest. We loved our stay here and would definitely return and recommend it. Thank you Noreen for a wonderful stay.

This Is how to do it!

5 of 5
Tucked away in a small quiet hamlet...Maison Poppie is a superior renovated cottage. Furnished beautifully with considerable thought by owners Rhona and Phil...it has everything that you could wish for and probably more. You will find it immaculately clean...looking like you are the first ever visitors...something Rhona and Phil pride themselves on. Before arriving we'd read in other reviews about the provisions welcome pack...but even that didn't prepare us how comprehensive it was...the baguette was fantastic by the way...others have itemised it so there's no need to do so again...just trust! Rhona and Phil make you feel immediately at home but are discreet and always at hand from next door to help and offer advice. Is there a better self catering cottage in the world...probably...is there a better one than the offers the whole package...probably not...anyone thinking of letting out a cottage for self catering holidays I suggest you visit Maison Poppie first and you'll find out how to do it and do it in style!
