  • Beautiful Cottage in a Wonderful Village
    5 of 5

The cottage was everything we had hoped it would be, a beautiful cottage in a wonderful village. A perfect quiet retreat for us to base ourselves for the week, all the attractions we wished to visit were within an hours drive on mostly quiet lanes and roads. Isabelle and Lionel were on hand to meet us upon arrival and quickly welcomed us to the cottage, through the week we exchanged greetings and it was nice to know they were on hand if we had any issue, which there were none. Everything we needed was readily available at the cottage, the only slight issue was the lack of wine glasses but as we do we found alternatives which proved more than adequate. This is more a reflection of previous guest that the vendors, as people who break things should replace them! In summary we had a perfect week and enjoyed the area very much, if we return to the area again we will certainly explore the cottage availability again. Many thanks for the use of your cottage Isabella and Lionel.

  • Utterly heavenly ...

La Prune is a beautiful renovation - it's owners have taken care to renovate to a high standard whilst maintaining the building's origins. With 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, it was the ideal size for the 6 of us, plenty of space for us to move about and not be on top of each other! There are three terraces - one round the beautiful salt swimming pool, the other by the kitchen and then one just next to that at the back by the recently completed bedroom suite and before the pétanque square! The garden is a lovely size with lots of interesting features such as the old well, lovely trees - and is an obvious haven for butterflies. Lots of things to do in the surrounding areas - degustation's, canoing the local rivers, beautiful villages, markets, etc. Really can't recommend this place enough.
