Our family (3 generations) loved the place. A few of us cycled (up and) down to Cadouin for croissants and bread before breakfast, then we all breakfasted on the front terrace overlooking the pool and boules court.
Clearing up was easy with two dishwashers, and storing food and drink for 15 was helped by having 2 fridges and a freezer.
Daytime we managed to walk, cycle, canoe and swim in the Dordogne, and visit castles and caves. There are marked footpaths around the local area, and the small roads were safe enough for walking and cycling with smallish children.
There was lots of entertainment within a reasonable drive, including markets, vide-greniers, concerts in churches and some good restaurants capable of feeding 15.
The children loved playing on the lawn with an enclosed pool, petanque court (boules provided), table tennis and other ball games.
It was very private - couldn't see another house anywhere near - and safe in that we could keep an eye on the small ones from the terrace or a recliner by the pool.
Evening meals were taken in the covered area which was close to the kitchen and had a bbq.
The owner, Peter, was very friendly and helpful.
Formal details: listing accurate, property clean and well-maintained, good service.
Yes, we'd thoroughly recommend to friends and relatives.
