  • The perfect holiday haven

Our choice of house, hosts and location for our first trip to Brignogan-Plage could not have been better. The welcome and warmth we had from Anne & Jean-Luc was wonderful. The house is lovely and very well equipped. The garden is just a perfect retreat and a a lovely quiet location. We expected the coast to impress us but it was even more dramatic than that and so easily accessible on foot or by bicycle. Next time we would come in early September rather than very late in the season just to have more choice of restaurant and more chance to enjoy a late drink in the Cafe du Port. Everyone was very friendly and we were sorry to leave. Thank you for a wonderful new addition to our favourite places to stay. We hope to be there again x

We stayed in Mari's cottage for 5 nights and felt right at home. Mari welcomed us with a bottle of local cider, fresh apples from her trees, a local cake, home made jam and fresh flowers all over the house. The cottage was filled with sunlight and her welcoming warmth. It is off the main roads, very quiet, and you can hear the breeze blowing in the tree leaves. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed to cook for ourselves and it invites you to just linger and curl up with a book or window gaze. It's also a perfect location to explore the northwest part of Brittany. The coastline is beautiful, with many little coves to explore, easily accessible by bicycle, foot, or car. There are enough restaurants and creperies to delight your tastebuds too. The creperie in the local village of Ploueour-Trez was one of the best we went to, and the seafood at the restaurant in the nearby Brignonan village was outstanding. If we return to the area we will definitely stay there again. Merci Mari for sharing your place with us! Kendra and Lee
