A classic French house adjacent to the Canal and within a short walk of Boyardville

5 of 5
Very clean and spacious house and wonderful large (shared) garden. Lovely friendly neighbours, one of whom took us out for a sail on his boat! A very happy family base for six adults and four children. Cycle hire in the town and wonderful car-free tracks through the woods to the beaches. More adventurous beaches on the West of the Island for surfers. Avoid the traffic jams by leaving very early on transfer days or risk long delays for the viaduct. Good restaurants and plenty of free parking in towns - good markets too. Don't expect many people to speak English - good to polish up your French before you go!
