Belle appartement situé entre des jolies villes de Biarritz et Bayonne. Une terrasse couverte et le parking sous terrain sont très pratique et agréable. Bien équipé et parfait pour les vacances dans la région. Assez près des grands magasins, Le Clerc etc. On peut aussi voyager à San Sebastián en Espagne, seulement cinquante minutes sur autoroute et cité très interessant.
Just ten minutes from Biarritz airport (but no noise at all), we’ve just spent ten days exploring this area of France. The apartment is perfectly situated for this and was ideal for us. It was equipped to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Everything you could want for a short stay - dish washer, washing machine etc. Safe, easily accessed, underground parking.
We really enjoyed exploring the lovely area and drove over the border into Spain to San Sebastián which took under an hour on the toll roads. Well worth a visit. We also liked Bayonne , St Jean de Luz and BAB2 (a brilliant new shopping centre about five minutes away). Le Clerc is two minutes away by car and there is a Lidl just down the next road - a ten minute walk. We usually stay in the country side in France, but really enjoyed being in the centre of things this time. Oh, and there’s a bread and cake shop just over the road! What more could you want? Would stay again.
We stayed in Biarritz for a week and chose this apartment for its location and the view. We were not disappointed!
A short taxi from the airport and that was the end of cars for the week. Everything else is accessible on foot or by cheap buses / trains if you want to go further afield.
Within 5 mins walk you have a wide selection of restaurants, boulangerie, a super market (Carrefour City), Les Halles (the central market) and lots of bars too. You also have three beaches less than a 10 min walk away too. The nearest beach is the one in the view and is the main location for surf rentals and lessons. If you want to cook, there is everything you need in the kitchen, which also has a great view!
The apartment has a garage and bathroom / shower downstairs that acts as an excellent 'wet room' to decontaminate after the beach ensuring the apparent remains sand free!
The stairs down to the garage cannot be blocked of with a child gate and this, combined with quite an open balcony, mean the apartment is probably not suitable for children under 5.
